15 Extreme Industrial Machines Ever Made!

Its amazing how far technology has come, from advancements in production, to machines becoming more efficient and cost effective. Whenever we have a project , but don’t have the right machine for the job, we just build one! Whether its an enormous mass that can crush through rock, or a 45,000 ton saw, powerful enough to cut through mountains, here are the 15 Extreme Industrial machines Ever Made

Have lived on 4 aircraft carriers so have an appreciation for what OVER-SIZED can mean :) 2 carriers side by side in dry dock is the craziest thing I have seen :) watched them place the engines inline the shafts and propellers and the main chains and anchors was breath taking:) worked on refineries and power houses, knowing the immense force inside of 3 ft. high pressure valve& if flammable liquid is scary:) regret not seeing lg. submarines being built, the forces placed on them are as intense as anything on earth, when the 1 st titan2 dump truck became active at a mine where I lived they had a party in the back of it :) ,have had a close relative  and two FEMALE friends who have driven them :) we had snow plow on our school bus growing up:) is hard for many to picture :)  watching people "try" to "control" snow in the western rockies is easily the LARGEST thing  I witnessed, almost a comedy of errors at times :)  Be careful Peace. Rick
That "Godzilla Saw" of his, is actually the BAGGER 288 Bucket-Wheel Excavator (and when its painted blue, its the later on BAGGER 293 model), built by the German company Krupp for the energy and mining firm Rheinbraun. The Bagger 288 was built for the job of  removing overburden before coal  mining at the Hambach stripmine in Germany. It took five years to design and manufacture, and five years to assemble with total cost reaching $100 million. It can move roughly 240,000 tons of material per day or 87,600,000 tons of material per year; its operational weight is 13,500 tons, so just where he got a scooping weight of 4,500 tons per year is beyond me. Even the BAGGER 293 BWE max's out at 240,000 tons of material per day; just like the BAGGER 288. And as for the actual weight of the machines, OMG! The BAGGER 288 max's out a a weight of 13,500 tons with the BAGGER 293 only coming in at a little more than 14,200 tons; and those puppies are the biggest land-based machines in the world. So where he got 45,000 tons is beyond me. Maybe he mis-read Big Muskie's 4,500 ton weight limit
