Great video... maybe a rock breaker was also needed those rocks look hard on the machines.  I was expecting the Komatsu to roll that boulder right down the hillside and into the Volvo or the sleepy little town.  Maybe get a machine with a hammer attachment to finish breaking the larger pieces instead of killing the equipment faster. Work smarter.  Sometimes I wonder if an operator uses common sense when ripping out ledge.. I definitely would love another a chance in life to be ripping out ledge.  this very hard use needs a very short service interval afterwards. bearings and seals must be worn down extremely fast. never seen modern expensive machines this hard in move  Ya know, this sort of thing is why they use explosives. One little boom and Barny comes out way easier. Barny Rubble that is.
