10 Largest and Powerful Motor Graders in the World

Motor graders used to level terrain and work with excavators or bulldozers machinery used in the construction of roads, airports or railways cnstruction machines for earthworks in civil works and industrial construction

Motor-graders are super versatile. Although I was mostly an excavator, heavy haul driver, and dozer operator,  I could run a grader and they were fun. We had a 12G, a 6E, a 416 4 X 4, a JD wheel loader, a 325 excavator, and two dump trucks, and a heavy haul truck with 11 axles. Some of the top speeds of the graders mentioned might be a bit low.  The grader I drove in Canada in 1972-3 was a champion , front blade 4ft high , width of machine , center blade (mole-board) 2ft high x 14ft , Scarifies mounted in front of mole-board , in winter added post mounted 14ft wing on the side.  Interesting video. It is unclear to me how you rank them, because until #4 they seemed to get smaller not bigger. Also #2 is heavier with more engine power than #1. One of them (don't remember which one but it was in the last half of the video), you said the top speed was 8 kilometers per hour. It must be incorrect because that's wheelbarrow speed. Even if it was miles per hour it seems unreasonably slow.  The Caterpillar 24 is bad ass 24 ft blade on the mow board but the cat 120 140 163 14 and 16 are all great machines I prefer the piano style control but that's what I know the M is a nice model.  One thing I don't understand is their maximum speed : all of them below 30KM/h, whether tier engine power is 190 or 500 hp.  I know there is no need to go faster when leveling or grading, but on the road, going to work, or coming back from it, they could easily run at 50 Km/h (for the lowest powered ones) and would thus be less cumbersome in the traffic.  It is only a matter of having a higher upper gear ratio that would not be used not the working site but on the roads only.  Interesting about various motor graders in terms of makes, Also is there a major crawler track Front End Loaders bigger than the CATERPILLAR 973 for example
