7 MOST EPIC TRANSPORT OPERATIONS IN HISTORY
Comment: These transport operations are really epic. Some of them are really incredible.
Comment: I'm always super amazed about marine & offshore stuff. Those things are HUGE
Comment: I thought they would have included Howard Hughes Spruce Goose being transported. Actually some of this reminds me when I was in New Zealand; I saw about 3 houses being moved by road at night. Must be quite common there!
Comment: I think the two transports that carried the Saturn 5s (and later the space shuttles) from the assembly building to the launch site should be on this list.
Comment: Curious... with the cost of the transport alone of that super magnet, wouldnt it have been cheaper to develope and build it closer to the facility it was going to Or is the development place one of a kind
Comment: This is a brilliant video. How I wish you could use a universal metric system so that those that don't know about miles may know about kilometres...etc. All in all, this is quite good. Good research done.
Comment: Here's the biggest of them all you did not include: A coal train with 682 cars. That's bigger than everything on this list conbined. It weighted about 100,000 tons.
Comment: Just imagine going 1.5 miles an hour in five days. That will be aggravating lol
Comment: So fantastic.. incredible driver can do that and handle ah long long wide vehicle fully loaded it's amazing for me Always thumbs up for this channel tnx for the video.from Philippines.
3:10 that’s the turbine being transported on a Carolina piedmont railroad train. It is between Laurens S.C. (where I live) and Greenville S.C. The railroad is based out of Laurens S.C. where the turbines and other mixed freight are interchanged with csx.
