- Biggest Crane Fails Heavy Equipment Machines Working Fail - Amazing Dangerous Idiots Crane Operator Skill
That's what happen when you don't operate these machines according to the manufacturer's specifications, they pick up items which are too heavy. I've worked around cranes for 40 years as a Ironworker. Modern cranes have a computer that will tell how much weight is on the hook. The Operator has to over ride the computer to get "out of the chart". The second mishap could have likely been avoided by a tag line to keep the load close to bank so the Operator could keep boomed up. They need to be a little bit physicist to understand and feel the basic things related to the work that they do! These were avoidable. Companies skipping out on over sizing the crane, unsafe operators over exceeding machine capabilities, no load bearing sensors or base calculations. When using a crane the weight of the thing must be less that the amount of weight the crane could handle to avoid having these terrible accidents for example you need to bring a 10 ton crane for a 4 ton object
