CAT 994K

Curious why pneumatic tires on rear. For the (relatively) small investment, I wouldn't want a rear tire to puncture. Maybe traction concern, ride, float, etc.  Having owned smaller (950H, 930K), we typically foamed all tires. Curious why pneumatic tires on rear. Is it possible to provide additional Operator CAB Protection to this Front End Loader (FEL) CAT 994H Did you guys ever explore this need Basically to prevent the operator from getting jammed in the Cabin upon falling any big boulders from the bucket to the windshield of the operator cabin. The CAB protection, hamper the visibility of the operator and will it make it difficult for the cleaning of the windshield.
