Having new brakes/springs installed in my 1987 Ford F800 dump truck. Then buying a new 20 ton trailer and having the trailer place add air to the rear for the trailer brakes. Then doing body work and some other repairs to get it looking good.
Amazing level of quick thinking on your feet: See the issue, resolve to make it better, co-ordinate the plan with the skills you have, then get right to it ! I love the fact you recycle what most people would give up on and create new purpose for vehicles such as several hundred thousand mile Dodges, and well worked over old Ford dump trucks. ( my own '07 PowerWagon was rescued from becoming a parts truck because of a failed electrical system..... but it was too good, too rust free, with way low mileage to see the old gurl get laid to waste. I too am a fan of the standard cab and manual controlled 4x4 shift lever ) I am so glad you gave this old Dump-truck an upgraded new lease on life ! Looking good, I would move the air lines as high as you can on the side of the chassis rails and put the light socket above the rear x-member so in a jackknife situation the hoses and cable pass over the top of the drawbar unharmed. 55:30 !! Hey Andrew, I want to give credit where credit is due!
I hope all those (like me) who gave you grief about Cody being around the "mower mulching" without any PPE (ie....flak jacket, safety helmet and safety glasses) noticed that you lifted Levi down from your truck!
It is so good to see that you're showing how you're adapting your M.O. so you can continue to include your old friend in the things he clearly loves to do with you. You obviously know the value of one of God's greatest gifts.....the love of the pure heart of a good dog! Some of them can really require a lot of work when they get old, but after a lifetime of companionship and devotion, it's worth the extra work, right!
Keep up the good work!!!
