loaded semi drag racing pulling over 140k lbs of lumber up hill at the 2021 Great Lakes Big Rig Challenge at Onaway Speed way in Onaway, Michigan #greatlakesbigrigchallenge2021 #greatlakesbigrigchallenge #bigrigchallenge #semidrags #semiracing #semiraces #dieseldrags #speedsociety #semipulls #peterbilt #1320video
Absolutely love this as a fellow driver!!! Everyone oogling the trucks and I am over here impressed with the strap job on those loads. Well done. The green Pete at 15:44 was a beast, I lost track of how many gears he pulled the front end in. But the screamin Jimmy at 16:47 stole my heart. Very interesting to watch. The torquing the left front wheel, well off the ground, was something else. Imagine the stress on all the drive train components, accelerating all that weight to the degree that most of these tractors did. Simply amazing. 23:34 that torque... These trucks are sick!! Granted, they aren't moving at lightning speed, but the trucks alone weigh more than 30,000 lbs and added to that is the 70 tons of wood on 2 flatbed trailers plus going uphill to boot, VERY IMPRESSED!!! These truck manufacturers should be very proud of what they have for a finished product. My personal favorite is any of the trucks that are a straight nose, no sloped nose or flat nose trucks, still all are very badass. Many races won or lost by a two by four. Many beautiful trucks, all awesome display of power. I'm surprised many races lost on the starting line were won on the top end. I love the patena (rust) on the bumper of the blue International. It didn't seem to slow it down. Thanks for the great show. That black and grey Kenworth at 29:32 and again in the next race at 29:53 is a beast. Wheel yanking and just flat putting power down!!! 23:31. That black and green Pete was awesome lifting up like that The number one phrase dropped in the pits after loading up the trailers: "That ain't going anywhere!!"
Great job strapping down the lumber!!
