In 2013 The Tree in the Hill obtained a hollow tree from Whitehaven. At the time it was unsure what it could be used for- consideration was even given to chopping it up for firewood.

It was only when the log was cutinto that the natural beauty was discovered and inspiration took hold for a number of projects.

From tables to mirrors, the tree spoke for itself- keeping it as natural as possible in order to maintain the unique aspect.
