Pull & Push Start Cat Equipment [HD 1080p]

It's been a while since we worked the motor grader and scraper. Because of that we aired up the low tires, started the beasts and put some antifreeze in the radiator for winter time.

It brings back pleasant, and some not-so-pleasant memories of starting heavy equipment in Missouri, or Misery, as we sometimes called it, because of the weather. Allis-Chalmers tractors were my favorite for starting relatively easily in the cold weather. It was always a big thrill when they started, I remember clearly. i remember seeing these in the mid fifties when they were building the city of Thornton Colorado.. we lived on a dirt street in a newly built home just east of north washington and we were a few bucks east of there. These would roll down the street and over a hill that once was a vary vertical wall at one time, I saw them take down that wall with dozers and these cats. They had trailers behind some of the other ones which were red in color, There was pay loaders that i thought were fords because they were red and gray in color,,this brings back ski many good memories from that era.  Thats more atleast what we call around were i live, pop starting then pull starting. But the point gets across and i love to see this old stuff in action good video.
When I was a kid I use to see the man grading the dirt roads where I lived and he use to let me ride on the motor grader  the dirt roads have since been paved they had the old gallon they soon came out with a newer model use like here it run    Those old Graders were fun to operate...I believe the 1 i had you had to take your foot off the gas pedal to make it go forward....then let up on the pedal to stop....can that make any sense
