ROAD TRAINS - AUSTRALIAN ROAD TRAINS | THE LONGEST TRUCKS IN THE WORLD

When your around them all the time, you don't think much about it. Then you look back and see that they certainly were looooong.   Good video just wondering how much horsepower and torque do those trucks have Speed limit stopping distance and what kind of special training do you have Before you get to the driver one of      those things. How far do you to go with a train how many days and miles out at a time I'm just a little curious.   The question being asked from people in high population countries with not such long distance between towns/mines is "why no railways" The immense costs to build railways on the routes that road trains cover would be not worth it. Remember, the population is very low in remote Australia and population density is the lowest in the world - especially in the state of Western Australia where these trucks are traveling. By the way, we don't call the truck a tractor. It's referred to as a "prime mover". Thanks for the great video.
