I like heavy equipment. The operator is a very good skill. Very good sound. The incredible power those things have, how well they work, and the impressive skill the operators seem to have (in both the loader and the dumper) is just unbelievable! Great video! I can't believe those monster things could work in (what looks like maybe) 5 ft of water - like it was nothing! Hah! No big deal! And brilliant, the way the dumper offloaded much of the water by driving off at a good clip up a slight slope. Very smart. Caterpillar is not only the world leader for construction machinery but also for the powerful engines fitted in these machinery as well. I am a Singaporean and in my country, I have seen a road milling machine which is manufactured in1996. It is a Wirtgen road milling machine with the model number W2000. When I surf the internet to look at the specifications of this machine, I am impressed to find that it is fitted with a C15 ATAAC Caterpillar 6-cylinder engine! No wonder when it is in operation, the engine produces low noise compared to another road milling machine model W1900 which is fitted with a Mercedes Benz engine OM447LA.
Seen some of this equipment up in Alaska , working on the Haul road. It's impressive they work on that road every summer, most of it is not paved because of the perma frost . It's mostly all gravel road . Very huge machinery. It needs skills to operate this. Good job
