 Amazing! I can just imagine the smell of that freshly laid asphalt, love that smell.  This is a great technology at work. Road construction has reach a different level.
 That's called chip and seal.  Used to do that in the AF working for CES at Vandenberg AFB in Calif.  That is bad ass.  We used to back a 5 ton dump truck with a spreader and had to follow a line in the side mirrors.   I loved it.   They guys on the seal truck were always coated in black since the on and off was done by a wheel hand operated.   Their white overalls were not white at all... lol  Black as the oil they were laying!   I never had THAT job but did drive the trucks.  It’s a dream that Tiwi islands has roads like this. One day it will be true. The asphalt Road laying works was great. Combining with a trailer full of pebbles. I believed this can cover greater distances per day. Haha
