2x4 Challenge - In this video I show how I made an adjustable shop stool out of a single 2 x 4. This stool actually travels up and down using a gear and pinion setup, and is made out of a standard 2x4 that you can get from a standard big box hardware store or lumber yard, with a couple standard nuts and bolts.
This design incorporates wooden gears which came from woodgears.ca.
Please check out Matthias Wandel's Channel for a variety of projects using his wooden gear designs.
